Edgar N. Putman
Edgar Putman, 78, successful businessman, civic benefactor, husband, father, grandfather and avid sportsman passed on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at Doylestown Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was the beloved husband of Keren McIlhinney Putman.
A resident of central Bucks County for nearly six decades, Mr. Putman was a self-made businessman who grew up on a farm in Wellsboro, and later started Penn Color Corporation, growing it into an industry leader and expanding the company internationally.
