A Mainesburg resident took commissioners to task for the monthly on-the-road meetings, but they will continue.
Nick Lalic, long-time meeting attendee and outspoken critic, questioned the board about the traveling meetings during the meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Tioga County Courthouse.
Lalic asked how long the meetings had been held. Commissioner Erick Coolidge noted that the meetings predated his election to office and were initiated when Walter Barnes, who also attended Tuesday’s meeting, was in office.
Lalic contended that the meetings are not successful as attendance has been low at the ones he attended.
