Alice Jean Hakvaag, Wellsboro High School Class of ‘15, has graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater, a Concentration in Acting, and a Minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Alice is the daughter of Donna LeSchander and Gabe Hakvaag of Wellsboro. Alice is employed in the metro Philadelphia area.
Elmira College celebrated the graduation of 226 students during its 161st Commencement on Sunday, June 2, at the First Arena, Elmira. The exercises included 204 undergraduate and 22 graduate degrees. Those graduating included: Mitchell Christman of Middlebury Center, Paige Heintzelman of Millerton (Cum Laude) and Corrie Mace of Genesee (Summa Cum Laude Phi Beta Kappa).
Paige Heintzelman of Millerton was one of 54 students who participated in the annual Elmira College Nurse Pinning Ceremony in Speidel Gymnasium as part of Commencement weekend activities. The ceremony recognizes students who have completed the requirements for a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
