The Cowanesque golf season is just starting, and the Indians senior Austin Outman has come out of the gates hot.

After shooting an 80 at the Shepard Hills course two weeks ago, Austin came out and lead the pack, shooting a 75 on the day on Aug. 29 in Towanda. It not only was his best day so far this season, but he shot the best score of any other golfer of the afternoon, and is tied for best overall average score in the NTL through the first two matches.

Junior Joel Heck was yet another standout for the Indians, shooting a 94 on the day helping the Indians take a third place finish at the course. Also, seniors Josh Whalen and Zach Carr shot a 109 and 99 respectively.

Cowanesque was only nine shots out of second, and have been in the top three in every match so far this season.

They will be adding a fifth player, Skylar Smith, this upcoming week which will round out their roster for the remainder of the season.
