The following individuals faced court action in front of District Judge James Edgcomb.

William Harland Borden, 47, of Tioga was charged by Tioga Borough Police with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance generally impaired/incapable of driving safely, driving under the influence of alcohol high rate of alcohol, and violation of driving on roadways laned for traffic. Borden was stopped by police for failure to maintain lane. Preliminary alcohol tests read .224 percent.

Jacob D. Canute, 29, of Cameron, N.Y., was charged by Pennsylvania State Police with terroristic threats and simple assault after an incident June 17 in Westfield Township. Canute allegedly pointed a pistol at the male victim and threatened to kill him.

Jimmy Lee Whittle, 50, of Lawrenceville was charged by Pennsylvania State Police with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, generally impaired/incapable of driving safely, driving under the influence of high rate of alcohol or controlled substance, violations of driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving following a single vehicle accident. Preliminary alcohol tests read .17 percent.
