Article fails to include information

The recent article on the Ulysses wind farm fails to mention any of the undesirable aspects of wind farms. It neglects the impact of noise, shadow flicker, blinking lights and lower property values on hapless neighbors. Nor does it mention the secret agreement with the PGC designed to hide the killing effects of these mammoth bird and bat grinders.

Glaringly absent is any mention of who pays for these farms. Wind farm developers use our hard-earned tax dollars awarded by way of the Production Tax Credit for each KW produced to pay for their projects.

It is also hard to conceive how 430-foot towers with 220-foot spinning blades could be “beautiful” when placed in one of the few pristine natural landscapes left in Pennsylvania.
