The Galeton Tigers fell to Port Allegany and Smethport last week.

Against the Gators the Tigers allowed 11 runs in six innings.

Port Allegany scored two runs in the first and another four in the third.

In the fifth, the Gators tacked on four more to lead 10-1 before closing the game out with a run in the sixth for an 11-1 mercy rule win.

Tre Slawson led Galeton at the plate with two hits on the night.

Trey Kalacinski was responsible for Galeton’s one run as he went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

In their second loss of the week, the Tigers traveled to Smethport where they met the 3-6 Hubbers.

Smethport got started early with one run in the first before lighting up the scoreboard in the second and third.

Galeton was held scoreless in three innings as the Hubbers earned a 15-run victory in three innings.

Galeton looked to bounce back this week when they traveled to Oswayo Valley before a matchup with Port Allegany on Saturday.
