Cowaneque Valley had one last attempt Friday night to end their season on a high note, when the Indians faced Otto-Eldred.
The Indians would fail to score in the first quarter. Following an Otto-Eldred touchdown Cowanesque Valley would trail 8-0.
The Indians would mount a comeback scoring a touchdown in the second quarter but conceding another to Otto-Eldred.
In the second half Cowanesque Valley would score twice but would fall just short of the victory 28-24. This marks the Indians 10th loss of the season.
Quarterback Seth Huyler finished the game 11 for 17 with 200 yards passing for a touchdown as well as two interceptions.
Huyler would also run for 26 yards on six carries and add a rushing touchdown in the Indians final game of the season.
Micheal Moore would lead the Indians rushing attack with 68 yards on 20 carries.
Matt Barber would have nine carries for the Indians accounting for 34 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Barber would also be responsible for 52 yards receiving on three receptions.
On defense Barber would also lead the team in tackles with seven.
Owen Fitzwater and Thomas Shadle followed close behind with six each. Shadle also snagged an interception.
Quarterback Seth Huyler will return next year for a senior season where the Indians will look to improve.
