The Williamson Lady Warriors season came to an end Tuesday night against the girls from North Penn-Liberty. North Penn-Liberty would advance to the championship game where they would defeat Wellsboro in three sets and claim the Class AA District IV title.

The Lady Warriors were dealing with some injuries coming into their second round match.

Despite the injuries the ladies fought hard, but between playing the number one seed in the district and not being at full strength, it proved too big a hill for the Lady Warriors to climb.

The final scores for the match were 25-9, 25-10, 25-7.

The loss ended Williamson’s season. The Lady Warriors final overall record was 9-10.

The girls will look to improve next season but will have to fill the void left by this year’s senior class consisting of: Ella Durst, Mikala Coots, Emylee Yusko, Kamryn Miller, and Taylor McWhorter.

For now the Lady Warriors can take solace in making the second round of the District playoffs.
