Crash

Kyle T. Pruyne, 21, of Waverly, N.Y. and two passengers avoided injury in a one-vehicle accident on Marsh Creek Road in Shippen Township Nov. 21. Pruyne was operation a 2002 Buick Regal when he attempted to negotiate a right run and slid into a ditch. The cause of the slide was a blown tire. Gaines Towing assisted at the scene of the accident.

A 17 year-old male from Millerton avoided injury in a one-vehicle accident on Route 328 in Jackson Township Nov. 19. The individual was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, when a deer entered the roadway. To avoid hitting the dearth individual verred off the roadway and in doing so caused the vehicle to roll. The Silverado overturned 23 times before coming to a final rest. The vehicle was towed by American Truck Stop.

James Brown, 52, of Millerton avoided injury in a one-vehicle accident on Bailey Creek Road in Jackson Township . Brown was operating a 1972 Mack truck and making a left hand turn onto State Route 549 when the trailer he was pulling overturned. Big Elm Fire Company assisted on the scene.

Drug Possession

Amie Bainer, 30, of Middlebury Center was arrested for drug possession on U.S. 15 in Lawrence Township Nov. 15. Baines was operating a 2006 Scion when police conducted a traffic stop and upon investigation discovered drug paraphernalia.

Hit and Run

Police are investigating a hit and run that occurred on Charleston Street in Charleston Township Nov. 21. The victim, operating a 2013 Subaru Impreza, was making a right turn onto Mount Zion Road when another vehicle, operated by an unknown individual, struck the Subaru on the left rear corner as it attempted to pass. The vehicle then fled the scene traveling east on Charleston Road. Anyone with information can contact state police.
