Children ages 7-12 are invited to participate in a Launch and Create Workshop on Wednesday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Coudersport Public Library.

This will be a morning of building and creating unique items, like popsicle stick catapults and anything a child might be able to build out of Legos. These activities are a great way to enhance creative abilities and also give a brief glance into the fields of physics and energy.

This program is sponsored by 4-H, Penn State Extension and is an addition to the Library’s summer reading weekly series; there will be elementary age programs on both Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16 and 17. Participants must sign up in advance for the Launch and Create program, even if they’ve already registered for summer reading.

Stop at the Library and pick up a registration form for the workshop, or call Penn State Potter County Extension Office at 274-8540.
