Will also include live music by local bands, book signings by local authors, interactive history exhibits and demonstrations, as well as food and beverages offered by local vendors and non-profit organizations. Fall antique and collectable show — 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Pennsylvania Lumber Museum. Come see an array of antique vendors and some machinery that isn’t run on a typical day at the museum. See the birch still, steam sawmill and other shops in action.

Spooktacular — 7-8:30 p.m., Lyman Run State Park. Geared for younger children with trick or treating in the Enchanted Picnic Ground decorated with fairy lights and luminaries. Come in costume and get treats and sing pumpkin carols.

34th Annual Books Unlimited Gala — 5 p.m., St. Eulalia Parish Center. Enjoy dinner, socializing with friends and some competitive bidding, all to benefit the Coudersport Public Library’s annual operating budget. Haunted Hayride — 7:30 p.m., Austin Dam Memorial Park, Route 872 north of Austin. Take a terrifying tractor ride through a section of the Austin Dam Memorial Park. Finish the trip with a dizzying stroll through the Vortex Tunnel. This is a free event for all ages. Hayride costs are $4 for 18 years and under and $6 for adults. Donuts, cider, hot chocolate and soups will be available for purchase.

Saturday, Oct. 26

Roulette trick or treat — 6-8 p.m.

Fall Fest hosted by Open Arms Port Allegany — 1-4 p.m. Port Allegany Square. Trunk or Treat and a fall festival all in one. Enjoy a safe trick-or treating environment by stopping by each contestant’s beautifully decorated trunks. Enjoy some games and some great vendors. Haunted Trail and All Hallows Eve Celebration — 4-9 p.m., Sinnemahoning State Park. $10 per car. Kids crafts and games from 4-6 p.m. in park office and wildlife center. Hayrides from 4-8:45 p.m. The haunted halloween trail is half a mile trail with slight hills and wooded areas; no flashlights allowed on the trail. Alternative light sources that can be brought would be bright glow sticks and red lights. The “full scare” walks will start at 7 p.m. and the last group will leave at 9 p.m.
