A 54-year-old man faces criminal counts of child pornography and disseminating sexually explicit photos, after police obtained nine files from the defendant’s USB thumb drive, all depicting images, sexual in nature, of underage juveniles, court documents indicate.

According to court documents, David Haubrick, of Coudersport, told police he had communicated online with three unidentified people associated with uploads of child pornography using Skype. Documents state that Haubrick transmitted two sexually explicit images of juvenile females using Skype and saved 10 other images to his thumb drive, after obtaining them via his home computer.

Haubrick was charged with 10 felonies on Dec. 10 and had a preliminary arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Annette Easton, who set bail at $100,000, court documents state. According to court documents, Haubrick was committed to Potter County Correctional Facility until a bail hearing on Dec. 19, during which bail was reduced to $15,000 unsecured.

Documents indicate Haubrick posted bail following the reduction and waived his preliminary hearing, advancing the case to the Court of Common Pleas. According to court documents, now Haubrick is awaiting formal arraignment and is represented by Attorney George Stenhach.
