Emily Turner, 26, of Port Allegany was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Roulette Township Sept. 25. Turner was operating a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer on Route 6, when she traveled across the east and westbound lanes, off the roadway until the vehicle struck a boulder and spun 180 degrees to its final resting place. Turner was extricated and life flighted to Hamot Medical Facility in Erie.


Police pulled over vehicle while conducting a traffic stop on Fishing Creek Road in Roulette Township Sept. 26. Upon investigation police determined the driver, a 61-year-old male from Genesee was operating the vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet, under the influence. He was transported to UPMC Cole for a blood test. Charges are pending.
