Abuse

Police investigated a report of suspected child abuse in Austin borough, Thursday Sept. 26. The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment

Perry Green, 31, of Roulette was arrested when police investigated a reported domestic disturbance in Roulette Township on Thursday, Sept. 19. When police arrived, Green had already left the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Assault

Maureen Rykowski-McCarthy, 48, of Collegeville was arrested, arraigned and released on bail after she assaulted multiple members of the Pennsylvania State Police in Sweden Township Friday, Sept. 27. A preliminary hearing is upcoming.

DUI

A 19-year-old female, of Bradford, was arrested for driving under the influence on North East Street in Coudersport Boro on Monday, Sept. 23. Police conducted a traffic stop on Route 6 and discovered the driver was operating a 2005 Chevrolet under the influence. Charges are pending blood test results.

A 64-year-old male, of Mills, was arrested for DUI on Loucks Mills Road in Pike Township Saturday, Sept. 21. Police conducted a traffic stop on Route 6 and discovered the driver was operating a 2000 Jeep under the influence. Charges are pending blood test results.

A 58-year-old male, of Manheim was arrested for DUI on Wilson Drive in Pike Township, Saturday, Aug. 31. Police conducted a traffic stop and discovered the driver to be operating a 2007 Hyundai Sonata under the influence. Charges are pending blood test results.

A 41-year-old male of Sellersville was arrested for DUI on Faith Street in Sweden Township Friday, Sept. 27. Police conducted a traffic stop after observing the driver commit multiple vehicle code violations. During the stop, police determined the driver was operating a 2015 Subaru under the influence. Charges are pending blood test results.

Crash

John Parker, 73, of Shinglehouse, suffered suspected minor injuries following a crash on Steer Brook Road in Hebron Township, Friday Oct. 4. Parker fell asleep while traveling on State Route 44 and failed to negotiate a slight left-hand curve. Parker’s vehicle, a 2006 Ford Focus, left the roadway, struck a fence post, overturned, struck a utility pole and came to rest overturned. Parker was transported to UPMC Cole for his injuries.

Sheila Monroe, 48, of Genesee sustained a possible minor injury following a crash on State Route 49 in Ulysses Township Monday, Oct. 7. Monroe, operating a 2014 Dodge Journey, hit a cow in the eastbound travel lane, causing disabling damage to the vehicle.
