A 53-year-old man from Coudersport was arrested for DUI in State Route 44 in Hebron Township Sunday, Oct. 13. Charges are pending blood test results.


Jeffrey D. Strong, 54, of Rochester, N.Y. and Robert L. Nelson, 49, of Portville, N.Y. were arrested for trespassing after he allegedly knowingly entering posted property in Clara Township on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Scattering Rubbish

Teresa Hulings, 48, of Coudersport was arrested for scattering rubbish in Hebron Township Thursday, Oct. 3. Police responded to a call regarding scattering rubbish and cited Hulings after an investigation.


Xiaofeng Wang, 21, of Flushing N.Y. avoided injury in a one-vehicle accident on Cherry Springs Road in Summit Township Saturday, Oct. 5. Wang was operating a 2011 Acura MDX when he failed to negotiate a right hand curveand struck and embankment. There were three passengers in the vehicle with Wang at the time of the accident; no one was injured.

Lillian M. Wondrack, 68, of Shinglehouse avoided injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 44 in Sharon Township, Thursday, Oct. 3. Wondrack was operating a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu, when an animal entered the roadway and she swerved to avoid striking the animal. Wondrack then lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. She traveled across both travel lanes and struck a ditch and then rolled the vehicle before coming to a stop on its wheels facing east.

Christopher R. Gray, 28, of Coudersport suffered a suspected minor injuries following a one-vehicle accident on East Second Street in Sweden Township on Saturday, Sept. 28. Gray was operating a 2017 Ford Taurus, when a deer entered the roadway. Gray slowed down but was unable to avoid striking the deer.
