The Coudersport varsity softball team had a 10-run win over Oswayo Valley in five innings, 21-11. Coudersport was up 10-4 just after the first inning and Oswayo Valley wasn’t able to recover, despite putting five runs on the scoreboard in the fourth inning.

For Coudersport, Paiton Whipple and Chelsey Streich each scored four runs. Shaelyn Black scored three runs and brought in two runs. Emma Saulter, Rosalyn Page, Kaylee VanWhy, Torri Miller, Claudia Miller and Alayna Fry all contributed at least one run.

Karina West scored three runs and brought in two for Oswayo Valley. Karley Carpenter brought in three runs and scored two herself. Layla Phillips had a triple and three RBIs. Macy West and Kelsey Turk each had two runs.

Saulter took the win, she gave up 10 hits and 11 runs and struck out four.

Later in the week, Coudy had a loss in five innings, losing to Dubois Central Catholic 11-0.

Oswayo Valley saw another loss that week to Bucktail, 13-0.
