Raymond Richard VFW Post 6611, Canteen/Home Association, 221 Germania St. Ext., Galeton, was cited on Sept. 12 by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for failing to submit annual reports to the state Department of Revenue between Feb. 2 and July 1, 2019.

The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-$1,000 for minor offenses, and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.

In addition, the ALJ can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.

Training for the licensee can also be mandated by the judge in an effort to educated them on the requirements of being a licensee.
