In their extra-innings home game against North Penn-Liberty, the Coudersport softball team lost 2-1. Both teams scored one run in the fourth inning and held onto that tied score until the eighth inning when North Penn-Liberty scored one run. Paiton Whipple scored the run for Coudy, Sara Swingle and Jessica Kouba scored the two runs for North Penn-Liberty.

The Lady Falcons faced the Lady Hubbers on April 6, winning 14-2 in five innings. Coudersport scored seven runs in the first inning and Smethport scored two.

Smethport didn’t score for the rest of the game, but the Lady Falcons scored another seven runs in the fourth inning. Emma Saulter had one run and two RBIs, Kayla Korb had one run and two RBIs, Makenzie Gentzyel had one run, Hope Daisley had two runs and two RBIs, Chelsey Streich had two runs and two RBIs, Claudia Miller had one run, Paiton Whipple had one run, Addie Myers had two runs and one RBI, Kaylee VanWhy had two runs and one RBI and Shaelyn Black had one run and one RBI.

Emma Saulter took the win, allowing two runs and two hits.

The Lady Falcons had another big win on April 8 against Bolivar-Richburg, 12-3. Coudy scored one run in the first inning, eight in the second and one in the fifth and sixth innings. Bolivar-Richburg scored three runs in the third inning.

For Coudy, Saulter had one run and two RBIs, Tori Miller scored two runs and had one RBI, Ariana Waterman had two runs, Gentzyel scored one run, Streich had two runs, Miller score one run and one RBI, Whipple scored two runs and had one RBI, Rosalyn Page had one RBI, VanWhy scored one run and had two RBIs and Black had two RBIs.

For Bolivar-Richburg, Kelsey Pacer had one run and one RBI, Maya Graves had one run and Aliyah Cole scored one run.

Black took the win, allowing eight hits and two runs while on the mound for all seven innings.
