Travel Presentation Planned for Upcoming Trips
A special travel presentation from Collette will teach attendees about several trips scheduled for 2020 and 2021, such as the following:
The Colorado Rockies: June 5–13, 2020
Experience the majesty of the Colorado Rockies, four National Parks and two historic trains that celebrate the can-do spirit of the Old West. Marvel at the diversity and majesty of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Journey on the Royal Gorge Route Railroad through the Colorado Rockies. Climb aboard an 1881 steam train for a journey through the San Juan Mountains. The choice is yours to drive through the ancient culture of the Ancestral Puebloans at Mesa Verde National Park (UNESCO) or join a National Park Ranger on a short hike down the canyon into one of the cliff dwellings. Southern Italy and Sicily: Oct. 13-24, 2020
This journey will take travelers through a crossroads of civilizations in Sicily and to the spectacular coastlines of Southern Italy. Iceland’s Magical Northern Lights: November 15-21, 2020
The “land of fire and ice” is a place of many wonders, including the rare opportunity to see the spectacular aurora borealis – or northern lights. This tour will take you on a search for that once-in-a-lifetime moment. Take an exhilarating evening northern lights cruise. Travel to the “Golden Circle,” home to many of Iceland’s most renowned natural wonders. Spend time at Thingvellir National Park, the nation’s most historic area. Gaze at the spectacular Gullfoss waterfall – one of the world’s most incredible cascades. At the Lava Exhibition Center, learn about Iceland’s volcanic history and its impact on daily life. Greece and its Islands: April 28-May 12, 2021
