Several Potter County residents brought home prizes at the 104th Pennsylvania Farm Show, which ran Jan. 4 to 11 at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.

County residents bringing home awards included:

  • Mackenzie Heyler of Watsontown, 7th place, market goats, weight division 5.
  • Aaron J. Lehman of Harrison Valley, 10th in Hampshire sheep, heavyweight, and 5th in crossbred market swine.
  • Brittani Thompson of Ulysses, 6th in crossbred junior market swine, weight division 3.
  • Autumn Harig of Ulysses, 3rd in crossbred junior market swine, weight division 17.
  • Heather Post of Roulette, 1st in latched rug, no larger than 4-feet by 6-feet; 2nd, dried apples; 2nd, vegetable quick bread; 2nd in iced or ice box cookies; 2nd in wreath — other; 3rd in small tote bag (age 15-adult); 3rd, ornament contest (age 19 and over); 4th, Jazzy Jary (age 19 and over).
  • Sheri Greene of Roulette, 3rd in dried apples; 3rd in fruit quick bread; 3rd, large tote bag (age 15-adult).
  • Crystal Clark of Galeton, 1st in “Create Your Own Project” — a sewn project.
  • Beth Brooks of Ulysses, 1st in youth crochet.
  • Breanna Brooks of Ulysses, 3rd in youth crochet.
  • Riley Thompson of Ulysses, 2nd in youth scrapbook.
  • Patience Batterson of Galeton, 2nd in animal posters — safety and/or health.
  • Mercy Batterson of Galeton, 1st in fun painting (8-12 years old); 1st in fiber art (not knitting, crochet or loom weaving); 1st, 4-H crafts
  • Silas Batterson of Galeton, 3rd in fun painting (8-12 years old); 1st, Portfolio Pathways (8-12 years old).
