District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that, following a two-day jury trial at the McKean County Courthouse on Nov. 1 and Nov. 4, Eric Michael Fuller, of Shinglehouse, formerly of Smethport, was convicted of statutory sexual assault – felony 1; sexual assault – felony 2; indecent assault (victim less than 13 years of age) – felony 3; endangering the welfare of a child – felony 3; corruption of a minor – misdemeanor 1; and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child – felony 1.

The case related to the defendant’s actions toward a minor child in the Borough of Smethport in 2018. The case was investigated by Officer Shayne Miller of the Smethport Borough Police Department. Ashley Shade, assistant district attorney, prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth.
