Down by 10 runs by the bottom of the third inning, the Oswayo Valley softball team looked to make a comeback, but came up short. OV was able to score two runs in the fourth, but Otto-Eldred scored another two runs in the fifth inning as well, ending the game early.

For OV, Mandi Smith and Karina West had two RBIs. Pitchers K. West and Macy West both had five strikeouts.

A similar outcome happened at the baseball game, which only went to three innings. Otto-Eldred won 15-0. For Otto-Eldred, Jacob Merry scored three runs, Tommy Vanscoter had two runs and three RBIs, Andrew Sheeler and Cole Sebastian each scored two runs, Cameron Magee scored twice and Trent Windson had two RBIs.

For Oswayo Valley, Noah Winchert took the loss, allowing five hits and 10 runs when he was on the mound. Sawyer Prince allowed seven hits and five runs when he came in as pitcher.

Oswayo Valley baseball had another loss on Tuesday against Portville, 18-0. The game went for five innings. Sawyer Princes had two hits, Colton Gietler had a double and Carter Stedman had a single. On the mound, Noah Wichert struck out seven batters and gave up two hits and six runs.
