On Friday, Sept. 13, at 3:30 p.m. at Kettle Creek State Park in Renovo, there will be a program on “Pennsylvania Elk.” Some of the topics at this program will include their diets, mating season and history. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Nature Center in Lower Campground.

On Friday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m., come to Kettle Creek State Park for the program “Katydid Cadence” and learn about these insects and why they sing at night. Meet at the Nature Center in the Lower Campground.

On Sunday, Sept. 15th, at 9:30 a.m., at Kettle Creek State Park, there will be a program on the “Pennsylvania Black Bear.” Topics will include adaptations, diet and a brief overview of the natural history of the black bear within Pennsylvania. This is designed to be an informal program. Meet at the Nature Center.
