DUI

Ellis Ott, 32, of Coudersport, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants following a high speed chase on South Main Street, Port Allegany July 29. Police attempted to arrest Ott and Kacie Butler, 28, also of Coudersport, for felony arrest warrants out of McKean County when they fled north on Route 155 in a 1998 Audi A4. The chase went from the borough to Slack Hollow Road to the end of the dead end road. At that point, Ott was detained, and a search of the vehicle revealed additional drugs. Charges related to the DUI will be filed pending blood alcohol test results in McKean County.

Benjamin Brent, 57, of Coudersport, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop on Brent’s 2000 Chevrolet on West Second Street and N. West Street June 21. Charges were filed in district court.

Theft by deception

A Genesee couple were the victims of identity theft by deception between April 1 and Aug. 7 on Cemetery Road, Genesee Township. The suspect is known and the investigation is on-going.

Assault

Charges will be filed in a reported assault July 28 at North Oswayo Street, Shinglehouse following an altercation between two known males.

Corey Marvel, 29, of Coudersport, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic violence incident on McCoy Hollow Drive in Austin. The 25-year old female victim suffered bodily injury as a result of the assault. The investigation is continuing.

Criminal trespass

Kacie Butler, 28, of Coudersport, was charged with defiant criminal trespass following an incident on Wildcat Road, Sharon Township July 25. Butler entered the inside of the residence and was told several times to leave but chose not to, police said. Charges were filed in district court.

Criminal mischief

A 60-year-old Harrison Valley man was the victim of criminal mischief when someone smashed several windows of his residence on Fox Hill Road, Ulysses Township with a rock between 3 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 7. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Coudersport.
