Harassment

A known male was arrested for harassment against a female victim on Road, Keating Township May 19. Police said charges will be filed in district court.

Two known males will be charged with harassment in district court following an altercation that turned into a physical fight at James Lane, Lafayette Township May 18.

Bad checks

Myer’s Motorsports was the victim of a bad check at their business on Route 219, Hamlin Township May 5. Police are investigating.

Theft

A Coleman pop-up camper was stolen from a 55-year-old Marietta woman and later located on a logging road in Norwich Township, according to police. The 1995 camper was taken May 18 and recovered the same day. A 40-year-old male and a 39-year-old female, both of Mt. Jewett, were charged with theft and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Criminal mischief

A 22-year-old Coudersport woman’s car was damaged by an unknown person while it was parked along Route 466, Eldred Township May 17. Police said the rear driver’s side door of her 2015 Ford vehicle was damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-368-9230.

Police are investigating a report of a bullet from an unknown source entering a residence within the past week, going through two walls of an 84-year-old female’s residence on Route 46, Keating Township. No injuries were reported.

DUI

A 22-year-old male from Eldred was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Mechanic Street, Eldred Borough, May 17. Police said the 2005 Suzuki SUV was pulled over for a traffic violation when police suspected the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Drug possession

A 31-year-old male of Bradford was arrested for possession of drugs following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Foster Township May 17. Police said the driver of a 2015 Dodge Dakota pick-up truck was found to be in possession of multiple controlled substances, and suspected of driving under the influence. He also had an outstanding felony warrant, police said. Charges are pending blood test results at BRMC. He was jailed at McKean County Jail.

Two New Jersey men were arrested for a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 59, Corydon Township May 25. Police said the two, a 31-year-old male from Pitman, N.J., and a 31-year-old male from Elmer, N.Y., were in a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck when it was pulled over for a summary traffic violation. Charges are pending in district court.

Trevor Tadder, 20, of Eldred Township, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after police were dispatched to the Windfall Road location for a vehicle sitting at a residence where drugs and paraphernalia were found May 22. The owner of the 2015 Dodge Stratus, Tadder, produced a bag of marijuana from the vehicle, police said and a search produced a glass marijuana pipe. Charges are pending in district court.

Driving on suspended license

A 42-year-old male of Lewis Run, who is known to be a habitual offender of driving with a suspended license, was arrested following a traffic stop of his 2002 Ford on West Washington Street, Bradford, May 7 20. Charges will be filed in district court.

Burglary

A 47-year-old male of Smethport was the victim of burglary at his residence on Hummingbird Lane, Liberty Township May 21. Police said the unknown person entered the residence by a window but did not take anything. The skirting of the residence was damaged. Crashes

A 17-year-old female driver from East Aurora, N.Y. escaped injury in a two-vehicle crash on Route 59, Corydon Township May 20. Police said the driver of the other vehicle, Rufus H. Frederick, 74, of Clarendon, also was not injured. Two passengers in the juvenile’s vehicle, John M. Rogers, 18, of South Wales, and another 17-year-old female from East Aurora, also escaped injury in the crash. Police said the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder made an illegal U-turn on Route 59 and was hit by a 1995 Mack truck operated by Frederick. All occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts. The car was towed from the scene.

There were no injuries reported in a one-vehicle crash on Route 6, Keating Township May 22. Police said the driver of a 2003 Ford Ranger pick-up was traveling west towing another vehicle when the trailer began to fish tail, causing the driver to lose control of the truck. The truck then jack knifed, hitting the guide rail and coming to rest off the west bound shoulder of the road. The driver was cited for failing to drive on roadways laned for travel.

Corruption of minors

Police are investigating allegations of a known juvenile receiving explicit messages from an unknown person in Keating Township May 22.

PFA violation

A 26-year-old male from Eldred was arrested for a protection from abuse order violation May 21. Police said he was arraigned and charged in district court and jailed in McKean County Jail.
