Northwest Savings Bank, Erie, and Bank of America, Florida, were the victims of theft after two unknown individuals gained access to two bank accounts through Pay-Pal between June 12 and June 14. The thieves then removed $1,952.59 out of the two accounts at various locations. The money has been replaced by the financial institutions. Bank of America had $1,676.01 stolen and Northwest had $276.58 stolen.


A 31-year-old female of Roulette was arrested for harassment of two other female victims, one of Port Allegany and one from Allegany, N.Y. June 20, at the Busty Hearts Place, Annin Township, McKean County. One victim reported being punched by the arrestee and the other reported being pushed by her. The investigation continues.

A 17-year-old male of Bradford was arrested for harassment after he allegedly pushed a 36-year-old female victim, also of Bradford at Route 219, Lafayette Township June 19. The investigation continues.

Found property

Police are attempting to locate Diana Dawn Banks, of Olean, N.Y., after a black book bag containing personal possessions including a purse, cell phone, tablet, clothing and New York State driver’s license was found in the 1201 block of Prentisvale Road, Eldred Township June 17.


A 57-year-old male of Bradford was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on South Avenue, Bradford Township June 17. Police said it was determined the operator of the 2006 Ford Fusion was driving under the influence. He was transported to Bradford Regional Medical Center for a blood draw. Charges are pending blood test results.

A customer at Crosby Gas Station, 1469 South Avenue, Lewis Run, was arrested after he was visibly intoxicated and police determined he had drive his car there to get gas on June 20. Charges will be filed in district court.

Hit and run crash

Police are looking for the driver of a tractor trailer that hit low hanging utility wires on Brennan Avenue, Mount Jewett borough and then fled the scene June 16. The incident caused damage to the wires. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-368-9230.
