State police are investigating a report through Childline of indecent contact between a 17-year-old male and an 11-year-old female June 8 in Otto Township.

Corruption of minors

State police are investigating a report of a 13-year-old female receiving a picture of male genitalia from an unknown individual through Pinterest May 28 in Eldred Township.

Child pornography

Police are investigating a report through a Cyber Tipline of possible child pornography at a location on Willow Lane, Lewis Run between March 7 and March 18.

Theft

Police are looking for the person who took several items from a residence on Clif Nel Drive, Eldred, between June 5 and June 12. According to police, someone took a welder, a set of jumper cables, and an electric motor from the 38-year-old male victim’s property and then fled the scene north on Route 446 in a dark color Chevrolet Traverse with Pennsylvania plates. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Lewis Run.

State police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from a 54-year-old male from Rew on May 30. A 2016 white Chevrolet Malibu was taken from the Evans Drive location in Lewis Run while the victim was asleep. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Lewis Run.

A homeowner in Lafayette Township was the victim of theft after he contracted a suspect to do work around his home June 7. The victim paid the suspect up front to complete the job, which was not started. The investigation is continuing.

Bad check

State police are investigating a report of a bad check at 3176 Route 219, Hamlin Township, McKean County May 19.

Crashes

Heidi E. Johnson, 18, of Kane, escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash on Route 6, Hamlin Township June 10. Johnson was traveling east in a 2011 Hyundai Elantra when a deer rain out into the roadway. The vehicle hit the deer causing disabling damage to the vehicle. Both Johnson and her passenger, Courtney L. Causer, 18, of Smethport, were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

No injuries were reported in a hit and run crash on Route 4, Ceres Township June 4. Police said an unknown vehicle traveling north on Route 44 left the roadway and side swiped a utility pole with the passenger side, then fled north. A red bed cap from a truck was found at the scene. A turkey in the road is reported to be the cause of a one-vehicle crash on Route 59, Lafayette Township May 29. Christopher C. Barr, 27, of Lewis Run, escaped injury in the crash, as did his passengers Nicholas S. Anderson, 25, of Lewis Run and Christopher J. Julian, 46, of Mount Jewett. All were wearing seat belts in the 2017 Ford Taurus which was driveable following the collision.

Harold E. Wright, 84, of Smethport escaped injury in a two-vehicle crash on Route 446, Eldred Township June 9. Wright was backing out of a driveway in a 2014 Dodge Charger when it hit a 2007 Saturn Ion traveling south and operated by Janet S. Stuckey, 66, of Eldred. Stuckey suffered a suspected minor injury but her passenger, Reuben S. Stuckey, 38, of Lewis Run, escaped injury. All were wearing seat belts.

Tyler D. Stonge, 24, of Erie, escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash on Lindholm Road, Keating Township June 7. Stuckey was traveling north on a 2008 Honda CBR600 motorcycle when he lost control of the bike. Stonge refused treatment at the scene and was cited for speeding.

Pamela B. Burt, 56, of Emporium, escaped injury in a two vehicle crash on Viaduct Road, Hamlin Township June 8. Burt was backing a 2013 Ford F150 pick-up truck out of a parking space at the Kinzua Bridge State Park when she failed to see a 2009 Honda Civic parked directly behind her owned by Sue A. Marsh, 60, of Berkshire, N.Y., who was not in the car at the time and was not injured.

State police are investigating a hit and run crash on Bingham Road, Lafayette Township June 9. Police suspect a tractor trailer that was attempting to turn around in the roadway hit a railroad crossing pole and damage the base and foundation.

A deer in the roadway was the cause of a crash on Route 646, Keating Township June 13. The driver of a 20111 Saab 93 was traveling south when the deer entered the roadway and the driver hit it. No injuries were reported and the damaged car was able to be driven from the scene.

Harassment

Sharon Zimmer, 60, was arrested for harassment following a domestic disturbance at a Seal Lane residence, Eldred Township, June 12. Zimmer will be cited in district court.

Two people were arrested for harassment following an incident at North Hillside Avenue, Hamilton Township, McKean County June 15. Police said they were dispatched to the scene to find two people, a 53-year-old female from Prescott, Ariz., and a 56-year-old male from Ludlow, had unwanted physical contact with each other.

A 28-year-old male from Mount Jewett was arrested for harassment following a domestic incident at Anderson Street Extension, Hamlin Township June 13. The defendant allegedly pushed the 18-year-old female victim to the ground following an argument. He will be charged in district court.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle

An investigation is underway for a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at 3596 Route 46, Keating Township June 12.

Underage DUI

A 19-year-old male from Bradford was arrested following a traffic stop of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox for a traffic violation on Jackson Avenue, Bradford June 9. He was charged in district court.

PFA violation

A 27-year-old Bradford man was arrested and charged in district court for violating a protection from abuse order at Barden Brook, Eldred Township June 11.

Criminal mischief

A 73-year-old male from Natrona Heights was the victim of criminal mischief when someone broke his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado truck window at Lindholm Road, Hamlin Township June 10. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-368-9230.

Arson investigation

Chief Holt of the Kane Fire Department requested assistance from the state police fire marshal in determining the origin and cause of a fire that destroyed a mobile home at 500 Biddle Street, Kane June 3. The home was unoccupied at the time and there were no injuries reported. Damage was estimated to be $214,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Lewis Run.

DUI

A 50-year-old male of Eldred was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance following a traffic violation that was reported at 562 Route 446, Keating Township, June 15. He will be charged in district court.

A 29-year-old female of Port Allegany was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop on South Main Street, Port Allegany June 15. Police said the driver of the 2018 Jeep will be cited in district court.

A 27-year-old female of Amherst, N.Y., was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop of her 2015 Chevrolet Cruze on Main Street, Eldred June 14. She will be charged in district court.

A 63-year-old male from Elma, N.Y. was arrested for suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop of a 2007 Dodge Caliber that was suspected of being involved in a hit and run crash. He was charged in district court.

Prohibited offensive weapons

A 19-year-old male of Emporium and a 17-year-old female were arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and in possession of prohibited offensive weapons following a traffic stop of a 2001 Subaru Legacy on South Main Street, Port Allegany June 13. The driver also was found to be under the influence of intoxicants, police said. Charges will be filed in district court.
