Interference with custody of children

Faith Marvin, 22, of Kane, was arrested and charged for interference with the custody of children after she allegedly fled with a 2-year-old child on Aug. 1 with her boyfriend, Kenneth Goodman Jr. 33.

She was taken into custody Sept. 24 on a felony warrant and the child released into the custody of the biological father, who has full legal custody.

Goodman’s whereabouts remain unknown as of Sept. 30.

Donna Larkin, 69, and Carl Larkin, 75, of Port Allegany were both arrested when state police responded to a reported incident of domestic violence in Port Allegany Sept. 24. Upon investigation, the two were taken into custody on charges of strangulation, simple assault and harassment. An additional non-traffic citation was filed through district court for harassment.


State police responded to an incident of assault in Wetmore Township, Sept. 23. During the incident a 35-year-old male from Kane assaulted the victim with a circular saw, injuring the victim’s wrist.


Brandyn Delong, 18, of Eldred suffered suspected minor injuries in an accident in Otto Township on Sept. 26. Delong was operating a 2016 Ford F250. He veered off the roadway and went into the ditch striking a culvert. The vehicle overturned multiple times before ending up in the eastbound lane. He was assisted on scene.

Nancy Babcock, 68, of Eldred was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Route 155 in Liberty Township Wednesday, Sept. 18. Babcock was operating a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe when she struck a 2016 Toyota Prius operated by Brenda Lowman as Lowman attempted to make a left turn. Babcock was transported to Cole Memorial Hospital. Babcock was also cited for following too closely.

A 16-year-old male of Eldred was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Taylor Street in Ceres Township Saturday, Sept. 21. The minor was operating a 1987 Ford F-150XLT when he lost control while negotiating a curve. The truck began to fishtail and then drove into the ditch on the south side of Taylor Brook Road before overturning onto the passenger side.

Statutory Rape

State Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault incident involving a 16-year-old female that occurred between Jan. 1, 2017 and Sept. 4, 2019 at an unknown location. The investigation is ongoing.
