The program, U.S. Grant: Life & Myth, will discuss the life lessons that formed the most successful general in American history at the Oswayo Valley Memorial Library Wednesday, June 19, at 6 p.m.

Gunnery Sgt. Kenneth J. Serfass, USMC (ret.) is a professional living historian and will portray Grant in the program.

In this encounter, U.S. Grant will tell you how his reactions and decisions as a boy and young officer shaped the man he became, and how those same incidents led to decisions that were all part of a greater destiny.
