T.M.I (Think, Make, Improve)

Participants in this camp will have in-depth experiences with MinecraftEdu, PC Troubleshooting/Repair, Cyber Security, Programming/Coding, and the ability to explore a topic of their own (3D design/printing, Rockets, Legos, K’Nex, Ozobots, Role-playing games, movie production/green screening, etc.) during our daily Genius Hour. Students will receive a PC/Mobile device repair kit.

Get Lost in Space

With the 50th anniversary of a man landing on the moon approaching, we will be blasting into outer space! Students will create constellations and shooting star spinners, explore moon dust and galaxy crystals, compete in a space landing mission and so much more. Come join us for two days of space filled fun. The sky’s the limit.

Engineering Challenge

Do you have what it takes to be an engineer? Given various problems, you and your group will brainstorm solutions, build and test your prototypes, and redesign them as needed to complete the task. Each task will require creative thinking, innovative solutions, teamwork, and multiple iterations of your design. The group with the best solutions will be crowned the Engineering Champions.

The Clarion University Small Business Development Center provides entrepreneurs and business owners with education, information, tools and resources to start and grow businesses. Painting in Jessie’s Gardens

Paint with professional watercolorist and instructor Jessie I. Vaughn in her beautiful gardens in Gold, Pa. In this 3-hour class, Jessie will start with a demonstration, and then those attending will be free to find the perfect scene on 32 acres of meandering streams, woods, fields and flower gardens. You may only have to walk a few steps to be inspired by a lovely spot. There is also a large covered porch and a pavilion for those who don’t want to be in the sun.

This class is being offered on Thursday, July 11 or Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Adults of all skill levels can register for either or both classes. The cost is $25 per person per class and includes all supplies, if needed, and snacks. Registration is required, and space is limited, so register today.
