According to police, the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit a utility pole, then backed into a residence, hitting a porch and pedestrian and debris from the residence in turn struck a parked car. The pedestrian was flown via medical helicopter to Hamot. The operator was transported to Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. The incident is under investigation.

Police responded to a report of shots fired on Lillibridge Road June 4. The resident indicated they were lighting off fireworks. The officer stood be to await arrival of state police.

Police responded to a report of ruts in the resident’s yard caused by a contractor who had placed material in the complainant’s yard. The caller was advised to contact the contractor.

Police conducted a Facebook investigation at West Maple Avenue, Allegany, involving juveniles June 4.

Police investigated a complaint about a resident mowing grass into the roadway and the driver stopping and yelling about it at North Main Street June 4. Police said the grass was cleared off the roadway prior to his arrival.
