Terroristic threats

A juvenile male allegedly made threatening and violent statements at the Otto Eldred Joint School on Dec. 1. PSP was dispatched to the school on Jan. 17 in response to the incident. The male will be charged before MDJ Richard Luther.


An industrial company in Shinglehouse reported a theft, allegedly occurring between Jan. 10 and 14. The unknown person(s) siphoned approximately 200 gallons of diesel fuel for two parked vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.


A 49-year-old male and a 49-year-old female, both of Port Allegany, were both cited as accusers and arrestees regarding an incident of harassment, on Jan. 14. The investigation is ongoing.

A 23-year-old male from Kane was arrested and cited for harassment, following an incident on Jan. 19 in Kane Borough. PSP was dispatched to a domestic in progress and discovered the male had pushed/shoved the accuser. The male was charged before MDJ Richard Luther.


An unidentified driver of an unknown vehicle drove past the turn to go west on SR-46 in Keating Township, then proceeded to make a left hand turn and drove through the parking lot located at 45 State Route 446. While traveling through the parking lot, the trailing unit struck the utility wires going from a garage on the property, causing a big arc and ripping the wires out of the pole to the ground, as well as caused a leak from the gas meter located on the north side of the garage. The vehicle proceeded through the parking lot and turned left onto SR-46, traveling west.

William McCool, 24, of Bradford was traveling south on Mechanic Street on Jan. 15 in Bradford, driving a Jeep Compass, when he attempted to turn left onto East Washington Street. McCool failed to yield the right-of-way of Seth Shepherd, 26, of Bradford, who was approaching the intersection from the south in a 2019 Dodge Charger. McCool turned into Shepherd’s travel lane, striking the Dodge. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and sustained no injuries. Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene. Bradford City Police Department, Rain or Shine Towing Company and Donovan’s Towing Company assisted at the scene.

An unidentified driver of a 2008 Buick LaCrosse was traveling south on Barnum Road in Eldred Township, on Jan. 16 when the vehicle started to fish tail and cross the double yellow line. The driver proceeded to cross into the northbound lane and slid off the east side of the roadway, struck a posted speed limit sign and rested facing east off of the east side of the roadway. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene and no injuries were reported. New York Towing Company assisted on scene.

A 17-year-old male, of Turtlepoint, was driving a 1992 Toyota Tacoma straight on SR-155 in the northbound lane when he lost control of the vehicle and drove across the roadway into the southbound lane. The vehicle struck a ditch, rotated 180 degrees and rested on the driver’s side. Though reportedly injured, the driver refused transport for emergency services. The 16-year-old male passenger reported no injuries. Port Allegany EMS, Fire and Police Departments assisted on scene.

Firearm found/surrendered

A report of a firearm found on a Bells Run Road property, in Ceres Township, was reported on Jan. 16. Troopers spoke with an unidentified male and observed the firearm to be a black, Colt Trooper .35 revolver. The said firearm was transported to the PSP Lewis Run barracks for a history check.

Criminal mischief

A male victim reported a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was vandalized between Jan. 17 and 18 at the Smurf Pits, off of Forest Road in the Allegheny National Forest.

A 47-year-old female accuser and a 55-year-old male accuser on Jan. 17 said a 2008 silver Dodge Ram pickup and a garage, located on a Bridge Street property in Mount Jewett Borough, were damaged by unknown person(s). Damage reported totaled $100. The investigation is ongoing.
