Criminal Mischief

Anthony Bernardi, 21, of Little Valley was arrested for criminal mischief when police responded to a reported burglary on Cyclone Park Road in Keating Township on Nov. 11. Upon investigation police discovered Bernardi had entered the property through a window to obtain his belongings after being kicked out of the residence.


Douglas R. Taft, 36, of Lindley, N.Y. avoided injury in a one-vehicle accident on Route 6 in Hamlin Township Nov. 8. Taft was operating a 2018 Ford F350 when he lost control negotiating a left-hand curve. The vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment on the side of the road.


Nicole L Lamont, 31, of Emporium was arrested for DUI following a one-vehicle accident on State Route 55 in Liberty Township Nov. 7. Lamont was operating a 2003 Ford Explorer when she lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve on icy roads. The vehicle crossed the roadway and struck a ditch on the northbound side of the road. When police arrived on the scene Lamont was arrested for DUI and transported to UPMC Cole. Charges are pending blood test results.

A 22 year-old female of Bradford was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop on East Main Street in Bradford City on Nov. 5. After conducting the traffic stop police found the woman to be driving under the influence of marijuana. Charges are pending lab results.


William Greek, 28, of Kane was arrested for assault Nov. 17 after police responded to a domestic violence incident in Kane Boro. Upon investigation police found that Greek assaulted the victim who was transported to the emergency room for further medical evaluation. Greek was later charged with simple assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Greek was arraigned and committed to McKean County jail.
