Male Athlete of the Week
North Penn-Mansfield Football
In a game where the Southern Columbia Tigers football team was heavily favored, the North Penn-Mansfield Panthers showed no quit and despite losing 42-0 was able to hold the Tigers to their fourth lowest point output on the season, and hold them to zero points in the second half.
Logan Tokarz led the way for the Panthers squad throughout, coming up with eight tackles in the contest and forcing the only turnover for the Panthers in the contest. The Tigers team is not an easy team to stop, coming in with one of the top ranked offenses in the entire state of Pennsylvania.
Tokarz showed a lot of grit and determination in his performance in a tough game where he played one of his best games on the defensive side of the ball all year long. Tokarz performance on defense is why he is this week’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Some players elevate their play for their team on the biggest stage, and there is no better example of this than the run libero Ali Koval has put together in the North Penn-Liberty volleyball teams run to the state championship game.
Koval has been a defensive star for Liberty, and put together her two best games of the season, with almost flawless play against the Panther Valley and Trinity teams. During their victory against Panther Valley, Koval was all over the gym, coming up with a total of 28 digs and 16 serve receives during a game that was her best of the season to that point.
She backed up a stellar performance with an even better one, coming up with 31 digs and 21 serve receives.
