North Western Pennsylvania Optical Clinic is a privately funded program that provides income eligible persons with eyeglasses for a low of cost of $40.

This includes lined bifocals. No-lines are available at an additional cost. They also offer a solid tint and transition lenses.

Patients may select your frames from many in stock and have them measured for lenses.

Clients pay for their glasses at this time in cash or money order.

They are shipped to the lab for assembly and then sent back by U.S. mail directly to client’s home. A prescription from an eye doctor is needed, and bring that the appointment.

The base clinic site is at 903 Diamond St., Williamsport.

Through this site there are 14 satellite locations in Renovo, Lock Haven, Sunbury, Bellefonte, Bloomsburg, Towanda, Scranton, Tannersville, Selinsgrove, Shamokin, and Wellsboro.

Their clinic will be at Career Link, 56 Plaza Lane, Wellsboro, on Wednesday, Sept. 25 with appointments from 9 — 11 a.m.
