The following people either have appeared or will appear before District Judge James Carlson to face various charges.

Forgery

Jackie Leigh Moran, 32, of 48 Cummings Lane, Blossburg, faces charges of forgery, theft by deception and receiving stolen property for allegedly taking checks from the victim’s checkbook, writing them out to himself and then forging the victim’s name. He allegedly stole a total of $1,670 between Oct. 27, 2018 and Nov. 17, 2018. The victim was refunded the money by First Citizen’s Community Bank. Moran was issued a summons to appear at a Nov. 13 preliminary hearing

Drug charges

Tami Lynn Gasper, 31, of 30 Blacktop Lane, Lot 68, Mansfield, faces charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop of her 2012 Scion by state police on Route 15, Covington Township May 21.

Police said she was stopped because she had dark tint on her windshield. She allegedly admitted she had marijuana after the trooper noticed the odor and found a pill bottle containing marijuana and two smoking devices, a lighter and a grinder.

She was issued a summons to appear at an Oct. 22 preliminary hearing.
