WELLSBORO — A car reported stolen around 2 p.m. Monday was recovered eight hours later.

Wellsboro police chief Jim Bodine said the elderly owner reported that she parked the car in the Dunham’s Do-It Center parking lot between 1 and 2 p.m. Monday, July 8.
