Noah Spencer attempting to escape Troy’s defense in a tough loss on Friday night.

After coming off a tough loss to Bloomsburg last week, the North Penn-Mansfield Panthers were unable to bounce back against one of the toughest teams in the NTL, the Troy Trojans. The Panthers struggled on offense due to an extremely stout Trojans defense who have held some of the NTL’s most electric offenses in check throughout the season. The Panthers Colton Litzelman saw his first struggles of the season, throwing for only 30 yards and failing for the first time all season to throw a touchdown. The running game picked up some of the slack by rushing for 92 yards on just 15 carries, led by Bryan Bogaczyk who had 90 of those yards on just 10 carries. He also scored the Panthers only touchdown of the evening.

The Panthers will look to redeem themselves after their current two-game skid, as they the face Cowanesque Valley Indians this Friday at home. The Indians are coming of their first win in 18 games, dating back to 2017, but the Panthers will look to bounce back, after having weathered the most difficult part of their schedule for the season.
