Roseville Borough wishes to say how extremely thankful they were for the many volunteers who gave of their time and services to assemble new equipment, provide food and take pictures of the progress at the playground work bee on June 8. They expect the project to be completed in July.

The Roseville Rinky Dinks have scheduled practices for their up coming performances. Dust off your instruments and shine your horns for the first two on June 17 and June 19 — Band and lawn chair brigade at 7-7:45 and chorus at 7:45-8:30 p.m. All practices will be at the Methodist Church.

Healing prayers requested for Jessica Tice recovering from broken collarbone surgery resulting from a auto/bear collision, Duane Wilcox with a broken wrist, Rick McKay from shoulder surgery and Jacob Dunkleberger with bicycle accident injuries.

Roseville’s Ice Cream Social will be June 22 serving from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Plan to enjoy a meal of hot dogs, salads and baked beans topped off with homemade pies and many delicious flavors of homemade ice cream.

Pastor Sean Smith along with Buzz and Mary Harvey from Mainesburg attended the United Methodist conference held in Hershey. They gave a interesting report during church services in Mainesburg and Roseville.

Mary and Don Sirgey traveled to Reading to attend the graduation of their granddaughter, Lauryn from Berks County Catholic School. She is the daughter of Joseph Sirgey (Chrystal Frantz) of Pottstown. She will be attending Temple University in the fall, majoring in political science and hopes to become a lawyer.
