Seniors from across the NTL took to the court once more Monday, March 25 for a basketball game that pitted all-stars from the east of the NTL against the west.
Playing for the west squad were: Bandyn Choplosky, Logan Horsley, Nick Grinnell, Brandyn Tuttle, Hunter Brown, Andrew Brelo, Holden Kennedy, Tanner Adriance, Tyler Vargeson, Dylan Meyer, Jayden Andrews, Brent Burleigh and Sawyer Freeman. The west was coached by Kipper Burleigh.
The east squad included: Zak Smith, Brady Hopkins, Spencer Jackson, Williamson Ostrander, Ryan Armitage, Seldon Rogers, Aric Westbrook, Michael Smithers, Josh Varner, Brodie Johnson, Quadir Brice and Dylan Hartman. The east was coached by Paul Burgert.
In the first half Meyer led the west with 11 points. Meyer knocked down four field goals and two foul shots. Brelo had the second most points for the west with seven points in the first half.
Tuttle and Sawyer were each responsible for five first half points.
Westbrook, Smithers, Rogers, and Hartman, each with five points, led the east in the first half.
The west led 34-30 at the half.
In the second half, the west would extend their lead by holding the east to just 23 points.
Tuttle and Horsley each had six points to lead the west. Brelo added five more to his total. The west would also benefit from five three-pointers over the second half. Adriance, Vargeson, Freeman, Brelo and Kennedy each knocked down a shot from beyond the arc.
The west cruised to a 77-53 win.
Meyer led the west with 15 total points. Brelo finished with 12. Tuttle added 11 for the west.
