DUI crash

Jeremiah White, 18, of Millerton, was arrested and charged for driving under the influence of intoxicants and underage drinking after he crashed his 2012 Dodge Ram pick-up truck into trees and a boulder on Pumpkin Hill Road, Jackson Township, April 30. White suffered a suspected serious injury in the crash and was transported to Robert Packer Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Theft

Police are investigating the alleged theft of items at Wal-Mart, Mansfield March 30. Police said the individuals allegedly changed price tags on two items valued at $39.76 and $29.88 for a 62 cents price tag. Stolen were a package of Pampers diapers and a black diamond case.

Police are looking for whoever took two items from PennDOT on North Road, Jackson Township May 13. Missing are a diamond “downhill grade” sign with flashing warning light valued at $100 and a white battery pack with orange strip valued at $75.

Crashes

Dylan J. Sticklin, 27, of Wellsboro, escaped injury following a one-vehicle crash on Route 287, Delmar Township May 6. Police said Sticklin was traveling in a 2001 Freightliner tractor trailer when another vehicle traveled into his path and hit the rear view mirror on the truck and then continued traveling.

Billie R. Jackson, 27, of Galeton, escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash on Charleston Road, May 12. Jackson was traveling east in a 2008 Ford Fusion when she lost control and hit a ditch . She was wearing a seat belt.

A deer was the cause of a crash on Route 249, Deerfield Township May 15. Police said the 2014 Buick LaCrosse was traveling south when the deer entered the roadway. The vehicle operator swerved to avoid hitting the deer and went off the road hitting a fence wire. No injuries were reported.

Harassment

A 50-year-old male from Osceola was arrested and charged following a domestic incident on Route 49, Osceola Township May 5. Police said the male struck the 48-year-old female victim once in face during the incident.

Burglary

Police are investigating a burglary at Butters Stow N Go, Wellsboro between April 29 and May 12. Police said someone forced entry into a locked storage unit on Rice Road, and also damaged two other storage unit locks. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 570-662-2151.

Harassment

A 48-year-old male from Elkland was arrested for making threats against a 45-year-old female, also of Elkland, over social media on April 13. The male was charged in district court.

A 32-year-old male from Westfield was arrested for harassment after police were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Route 349, Clymer Township May 10. According to police, the male pushed the 57-year-old female to the ground. The male was charged in district court.
