The following people either have appeared or will appear before District Judge Rob Repard to face various charges.
John C. Gleason, 30, of 4889 Lambs Creek Road, Apt. 2, Mansfield, faces charges of possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, no license and no inspection on his 2007 Audi A-4 July 22. After police stopped him on Buena Vista Street for the expired inspection sticker and a badly damaged windshield, police said they found he was currently on probation, with a DUI-related suspended license. A search of the vehicle revealed a packet containing methamphetamine in his wallet. He was transported to the Tioga County Prison and his preliminary hearing set for Aug. 20.
Chester Lee Johnson, 30, of 2060 Route 362, Wellsboro, faces charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop on Pearl Street July 19. Johnson was traveling in a 2017 Ford F-150 without its headlights on after dark, police said. His breathalyzer test revealed an alcohol content reading of .162 percent. His preliminary hearing was set for Aug. 20.
Justin A. Cleveland, 29, of 105 Sugar Bush Road, Wellsboro, faces charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop of his 2001 Subaru station wagon on Old Tioga Street, Wellsboro July 4. Police were dispatched to find the car after they received a report of an erratic driver. The vehicle also had an expired registration. His Breathalyzer test revealed an alcohol content of .214 percent. His preliminary hearing was set for Aug. 27.
