Kimberly Jo Parson, 43, of Wellsboro, was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and resisting arrest following police response to a reported intoxicated individual on East Avenue, Wellsboro Jan. 28. Upon arrival at the scene police found Parson, refusing to leave the premises. After Parson’s continued refusal police placed her under arrest and transported her to Tioga County Prison for public intoxication and defiant trespass. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.

Chancey Lee DeCoursey, 35, of Wellsboro, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance following a police investigation on Dec. 16, 2019. During a meeting with DeCoursey on an unrelated charges, police observed a jar with marijuana inside. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
