Wellsboro has moved itself into the front runner position this year in golf thanks to the stellar play of Ty Morral, Joseph Propheta, and Brock Hamblin who all are currently ranked in the top five of the league rankings as of Tuesday evening. The Hornets stand undefeated so far on the golf season thanks to their strong play. Ty Morral led the way once again shooting a 77 leading the day. Joseph Propheta was right behind, with the second best performance shooting an 82. Brock Hamblin shot an 85 , rounding out three of the top five performers of the afternoon in Corey Creek.

For second place, North-Penn Mansfield and Cowanesque Valley have been battling all season, with most matches coming down to only a few shots. North-Penn was led by Reese White and Ethan Weiskoff and top to bottom had a very solid performance throughout the day, giving them second place.

Cowanesque Valley came up just a bit short, but Austin Outman had another really great showing, with the third best day overall, shooting an 83. He is currently ranked number two in the NTL rankings just behind Ty Morral. Before this matchup he was tied with Morral, having one of the stronger seasons in the NTL. Joel Heck also shot a 92 rounding out the top two performers for the Indians.

The next NTL golf action will be at River Valley Tuesday Sept. 10 at 2 p.m.
