I visited Irma Heath of Stonyfork one day this week. She is getting along real well for having had a stroke.
She still needs healing prayers but she is getting around the house and we had a nice visit. It was good to hear her familiar giggle.
Sunday was Grandparents Day and all of us grandparents and great-grandparents were happy to be recognized in church.
Carmen Toby led the service on Sunday based on Jeremiah – God is the Potter and we are the clay.
Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Richard Messmer.
Get-well wishes and healing prayers are given for Ted Zuchowshi who has returned home after a long illness, as well as Doug Harris, Jerry Ferris, Pam English, and Eli Hand, who had a concussion.
Tonya Wilkiinson will make a trip to Rochester for her check-up this week. May your report continue to be good. You look great.
Several members of the Hand family and Russell Gile did a motorcyycle ride to the Kinzua Dam area.
A couple of carloads traveled with them, making a group of 15, and joined them for dinner on their way home. A nice way to spend a sunny afternoon.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of the hurricane as it proceeded from Bermuda up the coastline to Nova Scotia.
We have heard from Fran Dewey and the Lyman Gile family of Florida that they were OK with little damage in their areas.
Alice Smith Blank of Addison, N.Y. visited Eileen Dewey on Sunday afternoon. Dianne Kennedy and Jeannette Comstock also joined us.
We had a nice visit, shared memories and photos.
Happy birthday to Afton Hand, Melania Love, Barb Gile, Daisy Gotchal and Roxie Wilkinson this week.
