A two-vehicle crash occurred along Route 287 in Charleston Township on Sept. 4. Jeri Smith, 40, of Morris, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix when she attempted to pass Samatha Enck, 37, of Wellsboro, driving a 2013 Ford explorer. Smith struck Enck and left the side of the roadway and struck a building. Possible injuries were sustained.

On Sept. 13 on Stony Fork Road in Delmar Township, a single vehicle crash occurred. Eli Mcnett, 18, of Mansfield, was driving a 2005 Honda Civic when he attempted to negotiate a left-hand curve. He lost control of the vehicle twice and came to rest in an embankment. No injuries were sustained.

An alleged hit and run crash occurred on Mountain Ridge Road in Sullivan Township on Sept. 7. Carl Young, 72, of Troy was driving a 2016 Nissan Frontier when he tried to pass a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander driven by Brian Seelye, 56, of Blossburg. Young struck Seelye and then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.


An investigation is ongoing for an alleged animal cruelty case that was reported from Richmond Township on Sept. 1. Unauthorized use of motorized vehicle An alleged unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported from Clymer Township on Sept. 6. The investigation is ongoing.

Criminal mischief

A single pane window valued at $100.00 was damaged in Liberty Borough on Sept. 4. An incident occurred to a parked vehicle in Liberty Borough on Sept. 4. The investigation is ongoing.Theft

On Sept. 4 in Liberty Township, a theft of a game camera was reported. The investigation is ongoing. An incident of theft by fraud is being investigated from June 9 in Delmar Township.


A welfare check was done in Charleston Township on Sept. 4. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a domestic violence. Misdemeanor/felony during a traffic stop in Richmond Township on Sept. 5, it was determined that Wanderson Alves De Moraes, 36, of Clearwater, Fla., was wanted by homeland security.

Drug paraphernalia possession

Kevin Holt, 21, of Baltimore, Md., was arrested after a traffic stop in Tioga Township on Sept. 4. Drug paraphernalia was seized.
