The following individuals faced court action with Judge James Edgcomb presiding.
Timothy S. Woodruff, 59, of Bensalem was charged by Westfield Borough Police with driving under the influence incapable of safe driving, driving under the influence highest rate of alcohol, failure to drive on the right side of the roadway, and violation of maximum speed limits. Police stopped Woodruff for speeding Aug. 14 after Woodruff passed another vehicle that was traveling at the posted speed limit. Preliminary alcohol tests read .168 percent
Scott Allen Barnes, 34, of Tioga was charged by Tioga Borough Police with terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment after an incident Oct. 3. Police were summoned after the victim received communication of threats of harm. Barnes allegedly made continuous threats to commit a crime of violence against the victim.
Kealyb Preston, 18, of Millerton was charged by Pennsylvania State Police after an Aug. 15 incident. Preston was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance incapable of safe driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or control substance with impaired ability, violation of required registration and certificate of title, violation of drivers required to be licensed, failure to provided financial responsibility, violation of driving on right side of roadway, failure to have official certificate of inspection, failure to display lighted lamp and careless driving. Preston was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Bear Creek Road in Jackson Township. Preston was found to be under the influence of marijuana.
