Archery team achieves in first competition
The This Is My Quest archery team (pictured above) recently returned from the National Scholastic 3-D Archery tournament in Owensboro, Ky. The Junior Eagle team finished with a national ranking of 15. The Eagle team finished in 17th place and the Youth team placed 53rd. The obstacles they overcame to get up there and finish this shoot makes me even more proud to be their coach,” said Rose Moore. “While we didn’t walk away with a podium win, we became stronger as individuals and as a team.” Moore notes that some shooters achieved their highest-ever personal scores.
