A man was killed last night after he reportedly lost control of the ATV he was operating on Horn Hill Road, Morris Township.

Theodore Strang, 38, of Oakfield, N.Y., was pronounced dead at the scene around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, by Tioga County Deputy Coroner Daugherty. The cause of death was blunt force trauma, according to police reports.

Police say Strang was traveling west on Horn Hill Road, when he failed to negotiate a left curve. He reportedly traveled off the road and down an embankment. Strang was reportedly thrown from the ATV, which then ran him over. According to police reports, Strang was not wearing a helmet, and speed of the ATV and gravel on the road played factors in the crash.
